Odisha nod for 11 investment proposals of Rs 2,253 crore

Bhubaneawar, August 4: Giving further boost to industrial development in the State, the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) chaired by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Thursday approved 11 investment proposals worth Rs 2,253 crore.

These projects will create more than 3,817 new jobs in different districts.

The approved proposals are from sectors like aluminum downstream, steel, food processing, infra, oil & gas, IT, electronic system designing and manufacturing. The projects will come up in Ganjam, Jajpur, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Khordha.

Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Water Resources Anu Garg, ACS (Revenue and Disaster Management) Satyabrata Sahu, Principal Secretary (Steel and Mines) Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary (Energy) Nikunjabihari Dhal, MD IPICOL Bhupendra Singh Poonia along with Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and senior officers of concerned departments participated in the discussions.
