Odisha CM Mohan Majhi reviews law & order situation in meeting with top cops

Bhubaneswar, June 15: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday held a review meeting with top police officials of the State at the State Guest House here to discuss the State’s law and order situation.

The meeting was attended by Director General of Police (DGP) Arun Sarangi, Director Intelligence Saumendra Priyadarshi, Commissioner of Police Sanjeeb Panda and other senior police officials.

“The Chief Minister has directed police officials to provide quality services and listen to the grievances of people coming to police stations,” said DGP Sarangi after the meeting.

Earlier Friday, the DGP announced that three new criminal laws enacted in 2023 will be enforced from July 1.
