Bhubaneswar, November 30: The State Government has taken all adequate advance steps for farmers registered for sale of paddy in the current Kharif season.
Nodal officers have been appointed in districts of the state for speedy redressal of various grievances related to sale of paddy by farmers. Farmers can know about their token numbers, receiving of minimum support price by sitting at home. In addition, the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) has also been made functional.
The Command Control-Cum-Experience Center at State Civil Supply Corporation has been fully operationalized. If there are any complaints, farmers can contact through Toll free No 1,967 directly to register their grievances.
Of the 16,584 calls received in the last one month, 14,728 are related to paddy procurement. Similarly, 13 thousand 365 outgoing calls have been created. These include calls related to payment of minimum support price (MSP), grievamce follow up and kharif season sharecropper verification.
Based on these complaints, the officials are verifying and taking prompt steps to resolve it. In addition, the officials are also verifying the information received from the complaint portal and taking necessary steps for quick redressal.
