Bhubaneswar, December 20: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has successfully completed the major yard restructuring work at Bhadrak Railway Station within the scheduled timeframe, marking a significant milestone in the station’s modernization efforts. The work, which aimed at improving operational efficiency and streamlining train management, was completed as per the schedule.

Importantly, no additional train cancellations occurred during the project and services were maintained as per the planned schedule.

The restructuring of Bhadrak Railway Station involved various key upgrades, including the addition of new platforms, extra lines for enhanced train operations and the commissioning of the third line between Bhadrak and Ranital Railway Stations. These improvements are designed to handle increased traffic, reduce train delays, and improve overall station functionality.

Key Features of the Completed WorWork

• New Platform Construction: A new platform has been added to accommodate more trains and ease passenger flow at the station.

• Extra Lines for Smooth Operations: Additional lines have been laid to ensure efficient train movement and better control of train scheduling.

• Third Line Between Bhadrak and Ranital: The commissioning of the third line has significantly boosted the station’s capacity to manage incoming trains, minimizing detentions and delays at surrounding stations.
