8 MoUs signed between Odisha Govt & Singapore in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, January 17: Marking a significant milestone in the growing partnership between Singapore and Odisha, as many as eight memorandum of understandings (MoUs) were exchanged between the State Government and Singapore based companies in crucial sectors here on Friday.

The MoUs were signed in the presence of President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, several State Ministers and delegates from Singapore ay the World Skill Centre.

The MoUs were signed to set up industrial parks, Green Hydrogen Corridor, Petrochemical and Petroleum Investment Region (PCPIR), development of new city, new energy project, strengthen fintech ecosystem, advance skill landscape, and skill development in semiconductor sector.

Expressing optimism for deeper collaboration, the Chief Minister said that there is tremendous potential for partnership between Odisha and Singapore.

The Singapore President visited toured state-of-the-art labs, spoke with students & instructors at the World Skill Centre.
