Chief Secretary-led panel visits Samablpur, reviews SAMALEI Project progress

Bhubaneswar, March 21: As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, a high level delegation led by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and Secretary to CM (5T) V K Pandian, Works Department Secretary VV Yadav and other senior officials on Monday visited Samaleswari temple in Sambalpur and reviewed the progress of Samaleswari Temple Area Management and Local Economic Initiatives (SAMALEI) Project.

The officials reviewed the progress of rehabilitation and resettlement colony work under construction at Durgapali. The Odisha Government is providing all the amenities for the affected people there.

The delegation directed concerned officials to expedite the work for the timely completion of the project. The project will be completed by mid-next year which will offer a divine experience to devotees of Maa Samaleswari as well as give a boost to the local economy.
