Bhubaneawar, December 1: The Sahodaya Schools Complex Science Exhibition 2022-2023 was held at the Sainik School here recently.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the junior most cadet of Sainik School Bhubaneswar.
A total of 160 students along with their teachers from 38 schools across Odisha participated in the exhibition held on Tuesday and participants were divided into two categories, Junior (Class VI-VIII) and Senior (Class IX-XII).
The exhibits in senior category were based on various environmental issues such as causes and consequences of climate change, biodiversity conservation and sustenance, alternative energy as a substitute of hydrocarbon energy, life science in human welfare, and scientific innovation.
The exhibits in the junior category were based on the themes of sustainable future, transport, IT and Communication technology, technology and toys. All the models/exhibits were quite thought provoking.
A team of judges comprising of seven experts from the field of science and technology examined and evaluated the science models on display and declared the winners.
