Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha once again on April 23 as part of his election campaign, informed party State unit spokesperson Golak Mohapatra.
During his one-day visit Modi will address a public rally in Kendrapara and Balasore. The saffron party has fielded former BJD veteran Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda and Pratap Sarangi from Kendrapara and Balasore Lok Sabha constituencies, respectively.
Notably, Modi addressed two election rallies in Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar on April 16 besides holding a mega roadshow in the State capital to bolster the prospects of the BJP.
Mohapatra further said that Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address rallies in Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Cuttack-Sadar on Thursday.
On Wednesday, party national president Amit Shah addressed rallies in Dhenkanal and Cuttack districts. He also held a roadshow in Cuttack seeking votes for the party candidates contesting the poll battle in the ongoing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The party has fielded candidates for all the 21 Assembly and 147 Assembly segments in the State. Elections is being held in four phases in the State on April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
