Bhubaneswar, April 14: Odisha has reported as many as 3,108 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths and 837 recoveries in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday.
Of the total 3,108 cases, 1,806 cases were detected from among the quarantined people while 1,302 cases were local contacts.
These new cases have been detected in 30 districts of the State. This apart, 118 cases were reported from the State Pool.
Khurda is the worst hit district with 534 cases followed by Sundargarh with 523 positives.
With this, the total cases rose to 3,61,450, with 16,889 active cases.
The State also recorded three more fresh casualties in Bolangir, Sambalpur and Ganjam districts due to the virus. With this, the virus death toll mounted to 1,938.
