Bhubaneswar, September 1: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced a permanent addition of an extra Non-AC Chair Car coach to Train No. 12892/12891 Puri–Bangiriposi–Puri Express to enhance passenger amenities and accommodate increased demand.
“Effective from September 1, 2025, departing Puri, and September 2, 2025, departing Bangiriposi, the train’s revised composition will offer greater seating capacity and improved travel comfort,” said an ECoR communique.
Updated Coach Configuration one AC Chair Car for enhanced comfort.
Seven Non-AC Chair Car coaches, including the newly added unit, providing more seats for travelers.
Five General Chair Car coaches, available for general passengers.
Two Luggage-cum-Chair Car coaches equipped with Divyangjan-friendly facilities to support accessible travel.
This initiative by East Coast Railways will deliver a more comfortable journey and better accommodation options along the Puri–Bangiriposi route.
