Bhubaneswar, October 26: At least three persons were arrested by Fategarh police and forwarded to court in connection with gang-rape of a 21-year-old woman near Pithakhai forest, said Odisha police on Saturday.

Notably, the woman was allegedly gang-raped by three unidentified individuals in front of her fiancée in a forest in Nayagarh district. The incident occurred on October 20 and came to light when the survivor filed a complaint with the Fategarh police station on Friday.
According to reports, the woman and her fiancée were returning home after visiting the Fategarh Ram Temple in the evening when they were intercepted by three unknown persons near Pithakhai forest.
The miscreants forcefully took them into the forest and assaulted the woman, threatening her fiancée with a knife and recorded the incident on a mobile phone and uploaded the video on social media.
