Bhubaneswar, July 25: East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal on Wednesday conducted a thorough inspection of the Sambalpur-Titlagarh-Theruvali railway section under the Sambalpur Division, said an official release.
“During the visit, the General Manager inspected key stations including Bargarh Road, Barpali, and Doikallu,” according to the ECoR statement.
He reviewed the existing passenger amenities, assessed the pace of ongoing developmental works, and evaluated infrastructure enhancement initiatives throughout the section.
“Special emphasis was laid on monitoring the progress of works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, aimed at transforming station facilities for enhanced passenger experience. He also interacted with frontline railway staff and conducted inspections of fixed assets and operational establishments,” it stated.
He was accompanied by Sambalpur Divisional Railway Manager Subash C. Chaudhary, along with other senior officers of the division.
