Trains diverted, cancelled for railway safety work

Bhubaneswar: The railways has cancelled and diverted some East Coast Railway (ECoR) bound trains and trains originating from ECoR jurisdiction in view of the safety related modernisation work at Kiul station under Danapur railway division.

As per an ECoR statement, (18419/18450) Puri-Jayanagar-Puri Express originating from Puri on March 19 and 26 and from Jayanagar on March 21 and 28 will remain cancelled.

Similarly, (18449/18450) Puri-Patna-Puri Express originating from Puri on March 23 and 30 and from Patna on March 25 and April 1 will run on diverted route via Adra-Gomoh-Gaya-Patna route bypassing Burnpur-Asansol-Chittaranjan-Jasidih-Kiul-Bakhtiyarpur route from both the directions.

The statement further stated that (22643/22644) Ernakulam-Patna-Ernakulam Express from March 17 to March 31 from Ernakulam and from March 19 to April 2 from Patna will run via Rajabera- Gomoh-Gaya-Patna route bypassing Asansol-Chittaranjan-Jasidih-Kiul-Bakhtiyarpur route from both the directions.

“12253/12254 Yesvantpur-Bhagalpur-Yesvantpur Express from February 26 to April 2 will run via Barddhaman-Rampur Hat-Sahibganj route bypassing Asansol-Jasidih-Kiul-Jamalpur route from both the directions,” it added.
