Bhubaneswar: The 151st birthday of
Swami Vivekananda as well as World Youth Day was observed in the Chhhatabar
campus of Vivekananda Institute of Technology on Monday. Governor Dr SC Jamir
unveiled the life statue of Swami at the main entrance of VIVTECH.

Governor was pleased to note the spectacular progress of the institute in a
short span and praised the commendable efforts of the management towards
preserving the indelible memory of the greatest of the monks.

the occasion, Jamir felicitated Prof Dr Bipin Bihari Swain, Prof Dr Trilochan
Biswal, Prof Aravinda Kumar Das, Prof Dr Chidananda Mohapatra, Prof Maheswar
Samal, and Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, a learned Vivekananda-scholar were
felicitated. Prizes were also given to the winners of various competitions.
