Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Thursday decided to
implement a new scheme namely Mukhyamantri Nijukti Srusti Yojana’ in the State
and set a target to provide skill development training to 11 lakh men and women
in five years while priority would be given rural youths.

This was decided at a high level meeting presided over by Chief
Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here.

It was also decided that the scheme would be monitored and
supervised by the Employment Training and Technical Education (ET&TE)
department while the Chief Minister would review the scheme every two months, the
Chief Secretary would review the scheme every month.
