Bhubaneswar, May 29, 2018: Prof Ganeshi Lal took oath as the45th Governor of Odisha on Tuesday. A former Haryana BJP unit president, he was
administered the oath of office at Raj Bhavan by Chief Justice Vineet Saran of
the Orissa High Court at a special function in presence of Chief Minister
Naveen Patnaik.
Prof Lal took over as the new Governor of Odisha, a post
which had fallen vacant in March this year after veteran Naga leader SC Jamir
completed his tenure. Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik had been given additional

He was given a warm welcome on his arrival at Biju Patnaik
