Bhubaneswar: At least 17 school students, including nine girls from Odisha will interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi as part of Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0’ programme.

Through this programme, Modi will interact with students, teachers and parents and discuss on the ways to reduce examination related stress.

The students have already reached New Delhi to interact with the PM Modi. A total of 2,000 students, parents and teachers from across the country will participate in the programme.

For first time, students from all over India and also Indian students residing abroad are participating as compared to last year where only Delhi and National Capital region (NCR) students were called. The participants from abroad include from countries like Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Nepal, Doha, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.

This programme will be telecast live on Doordarshan (DD) which will be aired live by other TV channels. Arrangements have also been made for live telecast of the programme at all Government and CBSE Schools and Higher Education Institutions/Colleges across the country and abroad.

Last week, the Higher Education Department has issued ‘urgent’ letters to Vice Chancellors of all universities and principals of all degree colleges to make necessary arrangements for the live view of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0’ programme to be held on January 29.

This year a cultural programme of 10 minutes has also been included in which the bright student winners from Kala Utsav contest, their parents and teachers will perform.
