Foreign students hone social entrepreneurship skills during Milk Mantra factory visit

Bhubaneswar: As part of the Make-in-Bhubaneswar initiative, at least 25 international students from the Global MBA wing of XIMB-Emylon School has recently visited the Milk Mantra’s MOO factory at Gop in Konark to study the various aspects of running an industry in India and their effective contribution towards country’s economy.

Xavier-Emlyon Business School (XEBS) is a joint collaboration between Bhubaneswar-based Xavier University and Emlyon Business School, France. The visit of the students to MOO factory on Tuesday was a part of the Make-in-Bhubaneswar programme where they learnt about various aspects of social entrepreneurship.

Milk Mantra Head (Quality & NPD) Debasish Mohanty briefed the visiting youths on the various aspects in running a business – procurement of raw material, production, HR, marketing, branding, finance, use of technology and how to be in business round the year.

They also enjoyed Milk Mantra’s newly launched Chhenapoda, and Buttermilk and Lassi served in cool cups during the visit.
