Meet Raja Ram, the new ECoR PCSC who is known for his quick crime detection skills

Raja Ram was recently assumed charge as the Principal Chief Security Commissioner (PCSC), East Coast Railway (ECoR). Prior to the new assignment, he was the PCSC North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur.

  • A 1988-batch of Indian Civil Services officer, Ram joined Indian Railways has known for his wide experience in detection of crime in Railways.
  • He has also worked as Chief Security Commissioner in RDSO/Lucknow, East Central Railway/Hajipur, as Director in RPF Academy in Lucknow and also in various positions in South Eastern Railway, Eastern Railway and North Frontier Railway.
  • Raja Ram is also a recipient of many awards like Indian Police Medal in 2012, DG/RPF Commendation & Insignia in 2004 and General Manager’s Award in his career due to his devotion to his duties.
