Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department today declared the first phase cut-off and merit list for admission into higher secondary schools or junior colleges for Plus-II courses across the State.
As per the list, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School continued to remain the favourite for students opting Science stream. The school tops the Science cut-off list with 90% followed by BJB Higher Secondary School (88.67%) and Berhampur Saraswati Bidya Mandir (87.67%).
In Arts stream, BJB Higher Secondary School tops with 71.17% followed by Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (70.17%) and Ghasipura Patitapaban Higher Secondary School (68.5%).
In Commerce stream, Gopalpur Higher Secondary School tops with 80.6% followed by Dhenkanal Evening Higher Secondary School (76.17%) and Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School (76%).
The second selection merit list will be released on July 8 and admission will be conducted between July 9 and 11. Admission of students selected in spot selection will be done between July 20 and 22.
Classes will start from July 24.
