BJEM School honours meritorious students

Bhubaneswar: The Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium (BJEM) School on Friday organised a special felicitation ceremony to honour at least 143 students who secured ranks in their classes, got full marks in various subjects and scored above 90 per cent marks in the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE-Class-X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE-Plus-II).

These meritorious students – 92 from Class-X and 51 from Class-XII – were felicitated with mementoes as well as certificates as a token of honour and encouragement by ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management Principal Scientist (Agronomy) Dr PS Brahmanand.

Speaking on the occasion, Brahmanand advised the students to be simple and a good human being.

School principal Sandhya Jena, her deputy Pallabi Mohapatra, manager PK Jena, additional manager CR Bairisal, Shibanee Pattnaik, Sucharita Das also graced the occasion.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
