Bhubaneswar: The beautiful gardens of the Lok Seva Bhavan (Secretariat) will open for general public from Saturday after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave his nod. The garden that boasts up with varieties of flowers will be open for common people for five days between January 11 and 26.
“The gardens will open for general public on January 11 (Second Saturday), January 12 (Sunday), January 19 (Sunday), January 25 and 26 (Fourth Saturday and Sunday and Republic Day) during 3 pm to 5.30 pm,” said a statement of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
Visitors can visit the gardens through Gate no-1. Last year, the gardens were opened for public for two days on January 26 and 27.
Meanwhile, the flower garden of the Raj Bhavan here has also been opened for general public from January 5. The garden that boasts up with varieties of flowers, several water fountains, deer, peacocks and peahens, ducks and swans and a pond with colourful fishes, will be open for general public till January 19.
