Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Coornavirus (Covid-19) positivity rate is lowest at 1.08 per cent compared to national average of 5 per cent, said National Health Mission (NHM) Director Shalini Pandit here on Wednesday.
According to Pandit, out of 41 active cases in Odisha, only two persons are under COVID-19 hospital care. Of the two, one person has already tested negative but because of his other complications he can’t be discharged.
The State has so far reported 60 positive cases, of which 18 persons have been cured and discharged from hospital while a 72-yearold man has succumbed to the disease.
In one month since first Coronavirus case reported on March 15, Odisha has so far reported 60 cases, which is one of the lowest.
A data released by the Odisha Government also revealed that State has notched up a recovery rate as high as 30%.
