New LPG connection, refill booking just a missed call away

Bhubaneswar, January 1: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas & Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday launched missed-call facility for Indane refill booking and for registering a new LPG connection through a single number – 8454955555.

The facility for booking LPG refill by giving a missed-call on – 8454955555 – has been rolled out pan-India and for registering a new LPG connection has been rolled out in Bhubaneswar. Service for registration of LPG connections through missed-call will be available across India shortly.

“This is a significant initiative by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. in providing convenience and ease-of-booking LPG to consumers,” said Pradhan.

The Union Minister also flagged off the 1st batch of XP100, India’s 1st indigenously developed 100 Octane petrol from Digboi Refinery.

The country’s oldest operating refinery has joined the elite group of Mathura and Barauni refineries, which will produce this advanced version of petrol. XP 100 was rolled out in seven more cities today – Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi and Kolkata. Earlier in the first phase XP 100 was launched in 10 cities, including in Delhi. This is one more step towards our efforts to improve ease-of-living for citizens.

The Union Minister congratulated Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. for leading from the front in constantly innovating and developing customer-centric, environment-friendly and best in class products and services.

“These initiatives are reflective of the spirit of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat,” added the Union Minister.
