IPS reshuffle: Sudhanshu Sarangi is new ADG, Railway & Coastal Security

Bhubaneswar, November 17: The Odisha Government on Wednesday transferred five senior IPS officers in the State.

According to a State Home Department notification, Binyanand Jha, ADGP, OHRC, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Home Department. 1989 batch IPS Pranabindu Acharya has been posted as ADGP, OHRC.

Similarly, 1990 batch IPS Sudhanshu Sarangi, OSD – Home Department, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Railway & Coastal Security.

Shefeen Ahmed K, presently serving as IGP, Technical has been posted as IGP, Fire Services & Home Guards.

2013 batch IPS L Divya V, SP, CID-CB, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Dhenkanal.

Meanwhile, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the name of Odisha cadre 1999 batch IPS officer Ghanshyam Upadhyay for induction as Joint Director in CBI.
