Odisha  CM dedicates 239 more transformed Govt High Schools

Bhubaneswar, November 29: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday dedicated another 239 transformed Government High Schools in six districts as part of the 5T High School Transformation programme. With this, transformation of at least 1,075 schools across Odisha has been completed in the first phase.

The Chief Minister inaugurated 90 transformed schools in Angul district, 64 in Jajpur, 41 in Dhenkanal, 22 in Bargarh, 17 in Koraput and five in Gajapati districts through video conferencing. These schools have been equipped with modern infrastructure and amenities to enhance quality of education.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that he always wished that students of Odisha should excel in every field, know about new technologies, and bring glory for the State.

“Students should dream big and march ahead facing every challenge in life with confidence which is the objective of school transformation,” said Patnaik.

The Chief Minister also released the Knowledge Paper of Taskforce Recommendation which outlines the maintenance and management of transformed schools.

Odisha Government plans to transform 3,300 more schools by March 2022.
