Plea for Buramara-Chakulia’ & ‘Kendujhar-Badampahar’ railway projects

Bhubaneswar, November 30: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting early sanction and implementation of ‘Buramara-Chakulia’ & ‘Kendujhar-Badampahar’ railway projects by Government of India in the greater interest of the people.

In a letter to the Prime Minister on November 24, Patnaik has offered land free of cost for both the projects.

Patnaik CM highlighted that new line of ‘Buramara-Chakulia’ will provide connectivity for people of the tribal district of Mayurbhanj while ‘Kendujhar-Badampahar’ line will provide a shorter & direct access from iron mines to Kalinga Nagar area, a major Steel hub of country.
