Puri, January 29: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian on Saturday visited Puri and reviewed the progress of Shree Setu project, which is part of the Odisha Government’s ambitious Shreemandir Heritage Corridor Project that aims to transform the pilgrim city of Puri into a World Heritage City.
The 5T Secretary took stock of progress of various aspects of the Shree Setu project. He held discussions with the district administration officials.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma was present on the occasion.
Under the Shreemandir Parikrama Project, the Rs 190 crore Shree Setu Project will be developed to create a new link road connectivity from Puri Bypass to Jagannath Ballav Math Pilgrim Centre.
The 1.5km long 60m wide bridge will have a trumpet interchange with access control.
