Union Health Secretary-designate Sudhansh Pant visits AIIMS Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, July 28: In the journey of its first decade, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has been contributing immensely providing health care delivery in Odisha as well as neighbouring states. It has created a new brand in the country and shows a path to the other national health care institutes, said Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (OSD) Sudhansh Pant on Friday.

It may be noted here that Pant will assume the charge of Union Health Secretary from July 31.

Pant visited the national institute to assess the hospital’s healthcare facilities and patient care services. During his visit, he Pant interacted with the patients, held discussions with the faculties, and toured various advanced treatment facilities within the hospital.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas welcomed Pant to the national institute.

He encouraged the faculty members to continue their efforts in advancing medical knowledge and skills to benefit patients and contribute to the nation’s healthcare sector.

AIIMS Dean Dr. P R Mohapatra, Dr. Satyajit Mishra, Dr. Soubhagya Jena, Medical Superintendent(I/c) Dr. Prabhas Ranjan Tripathy, DDA Ravi Prakash, SAO Rasmi Ranjan Sethy and other senior officials were also present during the visit.
