Paralakhemundi, August 19, 2024: The Padmashree Satya Narayan Rajaguru Smruti Sansad on Monday conferred this year’s literary award on noted essayist Chandrasekhar Hota for his significant contributions to literature and influential role in contemporary criticism and journalism on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan here.
Hota who now works as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Gajapati district, needs no introduction to those who take interest in Odia literature.
The award ceremony was graced by Dr. Purnachandra Mishra and Purnachandra Mohapatra, who lauded Dr. Hota’s relentless pursuit of literary excellence and his profound impact on the intellectual and cultural landscape.
