Bhubaneswar, September 2: Two newly constructed medical colleges in the State- Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital, Talcher in Angul district and Phulbani Government Medical College – have received approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) to start admission for 100 MBBS seats each from 2025-26 academic session.
This approval will help the medical colleges to admit its first batch of students from the current academic session.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister JP Nadda for approving the MBBS seats.
