Cuttack: Results of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) or Matric examination will be published on Tuesday. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), which conducted the examination, will declare the results at 9 am across the State, informed BSE president Jahan Ara Begum.
Results will be declared at the BSE’s office here. Students can check their results online from 11 am at http://www.bseodisha.ac.in, http://www.bseodisha.nic.in, said Begum. Candidates will have to login to the result portal using their roll number and date of birth details.
Results will be available on the internet and through SMS only.
Earlier, the BSE, which conducts the annual examination, was scheduled to be declared on May 14. However, the board delayed the results due to the disruption caused by Cyclone Fani, which hit the state on May 3 leaving a trail of devastation in Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
At least 5,87,720 students have appeared the examination at 2,953 centres. The exam in was held between February 22 and March 8.
This year’s matriculation examination was mired with controversy because of question papers going viral in social media.
