Ex-DGP Prakash Mishra to fight from Cuttack, Kharavela from Kandhamal LS seats

Bhubaneswar: The BJP on Monday announced names for two Lok Sabha and nine Assembly segments in Odisha. With this, BJP has as announced names of 130 MLA candidates and 15 Lok Sabha nominees.

Former Director General of Police (DGP) Prakash Mishra will fight from Cuttack while former Lok Sabha member and former BJP leader Kharavela Swain will contest from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat against BJD’s heavyweight Achyuta Samant.

While Mishra joined the saffron party on Sunday, Swain returned to the party on Monday.

While Dinesh Jain will fight from Jharsuguda, Debendra Mohapatra from Rairakhol, Badrinarayan Dhal from Bhandaripokhari, Pradip Nayak from Bhadrak, Debendranarayan Pradahn from Phulbani, Sampad Swain from Paradip, Narendra Nayak from Jaydev, Biswaranjan Dadajena from Jatani and Rishabh Nanda, son of BJD’s Rajya Sabha member Prashant Nanda to fight from Begunia.
