Bhubaneswar: For the second consecutive day, Chief Minister
Naveen Patnaik on Thursday laid foundation stones for six projects including a
100-bed mother-child hospital at Capital Hospital, besides inaugurating six
other projects at different places in the city.

Among the projects the Chief Minister inaugurated include, a
Sishu Udyan at Unit-II area, two underground reservoirs at ward no 49 in
Chintamaniswar area and near Kasturaba School at Nayapalli, two parks at
Acharya Vihar and Nayapalli Brit Colony and a street light project between
Power House and DAV Square.

Besides, the Chief Minister also laid foundation stone for
the 100-bed mother-child hospital, Patnaik laid the foundation stones for
construction of a New Annex Building on Jaydev Bhawan campus, a fruit market at
Unit-II, renovation of natural drain and lane no six, an electrification
project at Jagannath Basti and construction of a Child Development Project
Office at Saheed Nagar.
