Bhubaneswar: Terming the Odisha Lokayukta Bill, 2014, which was passed in the
Assembly on Friday as ‘weak’, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) State unit on Saturday alleged
that the Bill has no provision to ensure safety and security to complainant and
also ignored many basic things.
“The Odisha Lokayukta
Bill, 2014 is not just a weak Bill rather it is meant for self-defence of the Government,
hence will solve no purpose,” said party State executive body member
Dhanndakanat Mishra.
Stating that the Delhi
Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal was victimised of a preplanned conspiracy hatched
by Congress and BJP at the behest of Reliance company in Delhi Mishra said,
“The two national political parties do not want passing of Jan Lokpal Bill in
the Delhi Assembly forcing Kejirwal to resign,” said Mishra.
Mishra urged the people
not to elect corrupt people to Assembly and Parliament.
