SBI donates ambulance van to Mahanadi Lepra Eye Hospital

Bhubaneswar:
The State Bank of India (SBI) on Saturday donated an ambulance van to Mahanadi
Lepra Eye Hospital, Birmaharajpur, Subarnapur. The ambulance key was handed
over to  N.K.Rath, Administrative
secretary of hospital by V.Murli, Deputy Managing Director (I&A). This
function was attended by many senior functionaries of bank including Ashish
Kumar Roy, CGM (I&A­I). 
Speaking
on the occasion K.M. Trivedi, Chief General Manager highlighted various
community service activities under taken by bank and its commitment to take
more such activities in future.  SBI has
donated 483 computers to 483 schools, one ambulance van and  one 
multi  utility  medical 
van  during  last 
year, besides donating fans, 
water coolers, chairs tables etc to many schools and Rs 2 crore to the Chief
Minister’s Relief Fund  to  support Phailin victims.
During
the year 2013­14 the bank  has spent Rs 706
lakh under community service activity.
