SBI donates Mobile Eye Clinic Van, Anesthesia Machine

Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India (SBI) Bhubaneswar on
Monday donated a Mobile Eye Clinic Van to National Youth Service Action and
Social Development Research Institute (NYSASDRI) and an Anesthesia Machine to
Sri Sri Param Premamay Purusottam Trust.
 

Mobile Eye Clinic Van key was handed over to Sri Sarangadhar
Samal, Director cum Member Secretary, NYSASDRI by P.K. Malhotra, Deputy Managing
Director (Ops-NBG) here at SBI local head office. He also handed over prototype
cheque of Rs 7,30,000 to N.P Tripathy, Managing Trustee of Sri Sri Param
Premamay Purusottam Trust towards cost of Anesthesia Machine.

Trivedi highlighted various community service activities under taken by bank and
its commitment to take more such activities in future.  SBI takes of various community service
activities like donation of computers, water coolers, fans, chairs and tables
to different schools, tree plantation, adoption of girl child, donation of
ambulance van, multipurpose medical van, medical equipment etc. 
The bank has donated Rs 2 crore to Chief Minister’s Relief
Fund to support Phailin victims.   During
the year 2013-14 bank has spent Rs 706 lakhs under community service activity.
