Odisha’s first TOEFL centre opened in KIIT

Bhubaneswar: Longstanding aspirations of young students and
professionals of Odisha was realised as the state’s first TOEFL (The Test of
English as a Foreign Language) center was launched in KiiT International
School.

Students and professionals of the State aiming for higher
education in foreign universities need not go to Kolkata or outside Odisha now
for appearing TOEFL. Satisfied with the infrastructure of KiiT International
School, the ETS (Educational Testing Service), USA set up TOEFL Center here. It
is the 36th TOEFL center in India. ETS is the international organization
conducting TOEFL.
As many as 9,000 colleges and Universities of 130 countries,
including Australia, Canada, UK and USA, recognizes TOEFL as basic requirement
to study in colleges and Universities of their countries. Expressing his
satisfaction Dr. A. Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, due to excellent
study environment and modern infrastructure, ETS has certified KiiT
International School as the first TOEFL center of Odisha. Students and professionals
of Odisha will be greatly benefited by the center, he added.
