Bhubaneswar, November 3: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would
leave for the national capital on a six-day visit on Tuesday.

“I will meet Finance
Minister Arun Jaitley to submit a memorandum on the damages incurred in the
southern districts due to the recent Cyclone Hudhud. Also, I will discuss about
the remaining Central assistance for Pahailin last year,” said Chief Minister
Naveen Patnaik.
Sources said his appointment with Prime Minister Narendra
Modi is, however, yet to be fixed.
He is scheduled to return the State on November 9.
Meanwhile, the State Government has prepared a final
memorandum on Hudhud damage after getting damage reports from all concerned
cyclone affected district collectors of the State.
The Chief Minister had visited Delhi during the last
Durga Puja holidays.
After Cyclone Hudhud, Patnaik had written to the Prime
Minister seeking a Rs 500 crore interim assistance relief and rehabilitation
package, but the Centre is yet to act on it.
