Chair for Aeronautical Engineering, Geological Sciences at Koraput Central varsity!

Bhubaneswar, August 30: The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)
and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) would establish chair for Aeronautical
Engineering and for Geological Sciences and Communication Skills Development
Programme, respectively at the Central University of Orissa (CUO), Koraput.

This was informed by Koraput CUO Vice Chancellor Dr
Sachidananda Mohanty on the occasion of the varsity’s 7th Foundation Day
programme at Landiguda Campus in Koraput on Saturday.

He envisioned a new mandate for the University i.e. “CUO:
For the Region, For the Nation”.

The Foundation Day Lecture was delivered by Maloy De, the
General Manager of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Sunabeda.

The Central University of Orissa was established in 2009
under the Central Universities Act, 2009, the University has established itself
as a premier institution of higher education and learning in India.
