Dec 21: Lok Sabha MP Rabindra Kumar Jena from Balasore constituency urged
NABARD for immediate clearance of Rs 46 crore and Rs 28 crore for construction
of Pejagala over bridge and Jamsuli-Langaleswar road, respectively in the
district. The matter was discussed at a meeting with NABARD in Mumbai on Tuesday.

reaction to Jena’s demand, the NABARD has promised to allocate the fund for the
purpose as soon as possible. ‘A special drive in Balasore for promotion of
agriculture’ was another matter of discussion in the meeting. It has agreed to
deploy a team for the same.

goods & services from small & medium enterprises as stipulated by the
Government so that small business will grow in the country,” Jena urged the
PSUs at a Parliamentary Meeting for Review of Performance of Banks, NABARD,
PSUs including IOCL, HPCL, IOL, NBCC, Ministry of MSME, Dept of Public
Enterprises of Govt of India today in the same city.
