Bhubaneswar: The DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur here has created history after being acclaimed nationally in the CBSE National Science Exhibition.
In the recently concluded CBSE National Science Exhibition at Mayoor School, Noida the project of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur entitled “e-Swachhbin” was adjudged as the best one in the national level as lone in the state in Senior category.
The project highlighted the use of modern gadgets in encouraging waste management and go a long way in the nationwide campaign of cleanliness, opined the senior scientists who acted as jury members.
It was prepared by two students of the school Swapnadeep Mohapatra and Abhinav Patnaik at ATL Lab with the help of Asst. Duryodhan Pradhan.
A total of 465 projects were participated in the event in both Junior and Senior categories under six themes.
It is worth mentioning that apart from e-swachhbin, school project farm-o-bot in junior category under agriculture and organic farming took part in the National event after being adjudged as the State Bests.
In the prize distribution ceremony, CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal, Secretary Anurag Tripathy and senior officials Sweta Singh and J Emmanuel handed over citation, memento and a cash of Rs 5,000 to the winning team.
