Bhubaneswar: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi’s Odisha visit was postponed to March 8. Rahul was scheduled to address two rallies in Bargarh and Jeypore in Koraput district on March 5.
Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik informed that the party high command may visit on March 8.
This will be Rahul’s third visit to the State before the upcoming simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
The AICC chief had addressed a rally at Tomando, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on January 24 and also two public meeting in Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district and Rourkela on February 6 where he came down heavily on BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on several issues, like rising unemployment and problems being faced by farmers.
