Sambalpur: A two-day national seminar on teachers’ education titled ‘Trends, Issues, and Challenges in Teacher Education Programme in 21st Century’ was held at Sambalpur University here.
The seminar was organised by the PG Department of Education on April 5 and 6. The inaugural session was graced by Odisha Open University Vice Chancellor Prof Srikant Mohapatra while Sambalpur University VC Professor Deepak Kumar Behera moderated the session.
Similarly, Gangadhar Meher University VC Prof Atanu Kumar Pati spoke on the valedictory day.
Among others, Prof BN Panda, Prof Sevak Tripathy, Prof Minaketan Pathy, Prof Ashok Das, Dr Nirupama Badapanda, Dr Laxmidhar Behera, Dr Sudarsan Mishra, Prof Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Dr DN Singh presented discussed the fundamental issues on teachers’ education.
As many as 32 seminar papers were presented while a souvenir comprising 64 articles was also unveiled on the occasion.
Education Department HoD Prof Yuvraj Khamari and Assistant Professor Sraban Kumar Bag coordinated the two-day event.
