Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Railways has decided to run one more special train between Bhubaneswar and Krishnarajpuram (Bangalore) on Saturday (May 18) for the stranded passengers due to cancellation of trains during Cyclone Fani.
The Bhubaneswar-Krishnarajpuram Special Train (06562) will leave Bhubaneswar at 10 pm on Saturday and will reach at Krishnarajpuram at 10.50 pm on Sunday.
This train has 14 Sleeper Class, Two Second Class Seating and two guard cum luggage Van having stoppages at Khurda Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada in ECoR jurisdiction along with important stations like Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpetai and Bangarapet between Bhubaneswar and Krishnarajpuram.
The ECoR has suspended services of at least 103 trains due to the cyclone that hit the Odisha coast near Puri on May 3 keeping the safety and security of the passengers in view.
It had arranged the first special train from Bhubaneswar to Krushnarajpuram on May 15.
