Bhubaneswar: Sayantan Dhar of SAI International School has become the State Topper in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Advanced, 2019. He has secured All India Rank 51, the result of which was declared on Friday.
Sayantan has scored 99.961 percentile in JEE Mains, held in January this year.
He looks forward to pursue Computer Science Engineering in IIT Mumbai.
He had scored a total of 94.2 per cent in the Class-XII Board Examination, with 95 per cent each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and 91 per cent in Physical Education.
Earlier the young boy had scored AIR 63 in KVPY, State Rank 1 in Chemistry Olympiad, 2018, State Rank 3 in Physics Olympiad 2018, State Rank 3 in Astro Olympiad and also is a NTSE achiever.
He is the son of Swapan Dhar, Assistant General Manager in SBI, Bhubaneswar and Manisha Dhar, housewife.
School Chairman Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo congratulated Sayantan for the spectacular success.
