Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday asked his colleagues in the Cabinet, senior officers and to take lunch in orphanages, child care institutions and Aahar Centres during their visits to various districts in Odisha.
“Chief Minister advised Ministers, senior officers visiting districts to have working lunch in schools, orphanages, hospitals and Aahaar kendras. This will help maintain quality of food being served in these institutions,” said a communiqué issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The Chief Minister also said that these working lunches will help Government collect direct feedback on the functioning of the institutions at grassroots. Ministers were advised to submit detailed reports on their visits and suggestions to improve the functioning of these institutions.
The Ministers were also advised to keep their visit plans secret and take only three-four persons with them during their visit.
