Odisha Govt brings 5 more departments under Mo Sarkar

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced inclusion of five more departments under the transformative Mo Sarkar (My Government) – the feedback-based governance model.

Patnaik formally announced launching of Mo Sarkar in the Handlooms, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Textiles & Handicrafts, Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department (SSEPDD), Cooperation and Water Resources Department here at a function at Lokseva Bhavan.

With this as many as 22 departments of the State Government have been included in the Mo Sarkar initiative.

Ministers of the concerned departments, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, Five-T Secretary VK Pandian, among senior State Government officials were present.

The Chief Minister directed the departments to streamline their feedback mechanism for Mo Sarkar.

As part of the programme, the CM, and concerned department Ministers and senior officials will make random calls to people visiting various offices coming under their respective departments for the services to inquire their experiences.
