Eight pairs of trains cancelled till March 29 for railway safety work

Bhubaneswar: In view of safety related modernisation work at various places under East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction, the railways has decided to cancel six pairs of local passenger trains and two pairs of express trains on temporary basis once in a week from Friday (March 13) to March 29.

As per an ECoR communiqué, (58530) Visakhapatnam-Durg Passenger originating from Visakhapatnam will be cancelled on March 13 (Friday) and March 27.

Similarly, (58131/58132) Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Passenger originating from both the directions, (58529) Durg-Visakhapatnam Passenger from Durg and (18423) Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Town Express from Bhubaneswar will be cancelled on March 14, 21 and 28.

The statement further said that (58525/58526) Berhampur-Visakhapatnam-Berhampur Passenger from both the directions, (58417/58418) Puri-Gunupur-Puri passenger from both the directions, (58427/58428) Palasa-Gunupur-Palasa Passenger from both the directions, (68411/58412) Bhubaneswar-Berhampur-Bhubaneswar MEMU from both the directions, (22819/22820) Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam- Bhubaneswar Inter City from both the directions and (18424) Nayagarh Town-Bhubaneswar Express from Nayagarh Town will be cancelled on March 15, 22 and 29.
