Soumya Mishra takes charge as DCP, Traffic

Bhubaneswar, September 7: Senior IPS officer Soumya Mishra on Monday took charge as the new DCP (Traffic) for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Commissionerate Police.

Prior to this, the 2014-batch IPS officer served as Sundargarh district Superintendent of Police (SP). Sagarika Nath, who was heading the traffic management in the twin cities, has been appointed as SP of Sundargarh district.

Schooled in Loreto Convent in Lucknow, Mishra did BA & MA in Sociology from LSR & Delhi School of Economics.

Commissioner of Police Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi welcomed Mishra to Commissionerate police system at the Commissionerate Police headquarters here.
